A fit and healthy male had no idea that a simple shaving cut would turn into an expensive surgical procedure.
He accidentally cut himself shaving whilst in the rush to get to work. Something many of us can relate to and as usual he thought no more of it.
Over the next few weeks he began to notice a small lump in his neck had developed at the point he cut himself. As the weeks continued the lump got bigger and more protruding to the point that he felt he needed to get some advice.
The lump was actually a cyst and was growing and he waited anxiously to find out whether it was cancerous. Thankfully the result was benign but it had to be removed due to its size and position.
Cost $6,000 –Operation carried out 1 week after initial specialist visit.
His health policy certainly came into its own – Paid in full.
