Health Insurance is an investment not an expense.

A client of mine recently had to decide between health cover for the family or a new Commodore.

We did some numbers and he soon realised that although nice to have, a new Commodore will have depreciated so much in ten years that it will be almost worthless.

Health insurance for the family would cost less than the depreciation on his new car over that time, and would ALWAYS retain its value.

He has decided to buy a slightly used Commodore and take care of the family with full health cover.

His wife was very happy at his decision!
